The Wings of Time
Moment by moment life moves on
before we know it's all gone
yesterday we felt growing up
today it looks all forlorn
In all our life's existance
time waits for no man
it always beats you finally
no matter how fast you've ran
We all make our life's plans
not knowing how it'll all end
providence takes many a turn
finding yourself round the bend
Finally age catches you up
realising the end is near
where's it all gone you say
as it catches your every tear
Time certainly goes to flight
it's wings taken it away
when then it is no more
nothing is left to say
