The Wily Thorn

The wily thorn that signifies the rose abides; some hapless fool will come along untutored in the art of willful pose to grasp, and sustain a sharp reminder! His gift bestowed and modestly attended, there stirs a trembling only she may know whose pledge is true and joyfully intended, first semblance of a passion soon to grow. How powerful beauty's lure can be! it supersedes, and pricks the heart to bleed, and captured in its snare they're led on rapture's path, where'er that path may lead.

What passion that a prick from a lovely scented rose can bring. Allure and danger all in one. Well done

Hey Keith! :) My wish for you is to find yourself on "rapture's path"! You've forever been an unchained romantic, an amazing quality that you ardently express. Admire this about you! As for me it would most probably be closer to wooing a tree stump in the neighbour's back yard.=/ Might be forced to listen cause I won't be able to run off.:) Do love you, Keith! Best wishes, Mikki......Happy Thanksgiving! :)
