The Whispering Wind

If you listen very closely, You can hear the wind whisper. It calls out to your spirit, Inviting you to come along. As it whisks you far away, To the four corners of the world; You witness the awesome beauty, Of this planet we call home. In a now disembodied state, You're caught in a mighty current. Washing over and cleansing all it touches, Or manipulating its directional course. Whether a soft caress to ripple grass, Or a gale force to anger the seven seas. The ability to shape every aspect of life, Comes from a single exhalation of breath. It speaks without any animosity. Deaf to all prejudice and fear. It laughs at our self-righteousness, And sighs at our blatant cruelty. Those blessed with innocent souls, Can hear the magic of its song. Reminding us of one simple fact, That all things flow with the wind.

Thank you Ann, I was feeling a little breezy at the time. Thought I'd put it in writing.
