The Whisper of the Wind
If you hear me crying
Over what we were
What we had been
Don't let the sound of it fool you
It's just the whisper of the wind
If you happen to see me swaying
Not able to hold
Myself up again
Don't let the sight of it fool you
It's just the whisper of the wind
If I think I heard you saying
We'll always stay
The closest of friends
I won't let those thoughts confuse me
For they were whispered on the wind
If you see me fly off dear
Never to come
Back down again
Then you will know all that I've told you
Is just the whisper of the wind
