The Well

I stumbled across a deep well, Dark and seemingly endless, A well that hold in secrets I cannot tell, The darkness enveloping all my grief and sadness. As I crept within the depths, I find a tiny spark of light, As I dwelled deeper and deeper, I find diamonds and jewels hidden from sight, They were fused within the shadows, A melange of colours that form with time, All I need is to clear the clutter of sorrows, Finding endless treasure, the deeper I climb. The underside of the darkness hidden within, Bears such beauty that is left unseen, Until these darkness are confronted and these fears are faced, Tainted water from the well will be the only thing I taste.
