The Way It Should Be
The Way It Should Be
I fell in love,
In the process I fell down.
I crashed into the unknown,
As I crashed into the ground.
There has to be another way,
To escape this deafening sound.
So I searched and searched,
Until a better way was found.
This way may hurt me.
But it will be great to leave.
There is no other way for me to see,
There needs to be space in between.
There is no other path,
Forget about the aftermath,
This is the way it should be.
I saw you today,
But suddenly I went blind.
My heart went stone cold,
I realized you are not my kind.
I know now,
There is somebody else I need to find.
So my heart and soul,
Will just leave you behind.
