The Wall
There were ten politicians
All seated on a wall
From varied political parties
With their manifesto they hope to enthrall
If one doesn't convince the voters
Then he will surely fall
There'll be nine politicians
Left sitting on that wall
We now have nine politicians
All seated on a wall
One says he's for equality and equal pay for all
His campaign speech reveals his prejudice
So he is sure to fall
Eight politicians left
All seated on the wall
One hasn't declared multiple houses and cars
So he's the next to fall
Seven politicians left
All seated on the wall
One hasn't paid his taxes
The others knew and watch him fall
Six politicians left
All seated on a wall
One's corrupt dealings are exposed
And the media tells all
Five politicians left
All seated on a wall
One wants to speak up for the homeless
But he doesn't have the gall
Four politicians left
All seated on the wall
One's caught fixing all his votes
His number of supporters is quite small
Three politicians left
All seated on the wall
One is fiddling the system
In his stately home he counts his haul
Two politicians left
Both seated on the wall
One hasn't many followers
And he was sure to fall
One politician left
Seated on the wall
He believes in helping his voters
And for his constituents he'll give his all
He's a real man of the people
Who believes in equality for all
A hard-working and honest man
Who deserves to sit on that wall
