The Waiting Place

Beneath the willow, there she lays Full bodied figure on display Quiet, peaceful, sound asleep She waits for him, a date to keep As shadow reaches upon her face She awakens in that peaceful place Where all her dreams do, there, come true When, quickly, her eyes open to you With crystal settings, her eyes, then wide Show her feelings felt deep inside A hand, she reaches for his, too To touch her heart, refresh anew With voice so soft, she whispers sweet Words of love, to a lyrical beat Together there, they share a dance, In willows embrace, set to romance
