Your vow of silence one day you will break You’ll come to know you’ve made a grave mistake The love I gave you, why did you forsake? There’s nothing left in me for you to take For this is true and this you must confess Not one gave more to you in tenderness No other one on earth could love as I I’m left here all alone to wonder why I’m silent now, as silent as the grave What’s left of wounded heart, you cannot save So mourn for me and love you never gave With mortal wound I stand, silent and brave.

The last line convinces me that you do not break under the pressure and pain. You stand tall and brave, able to express your feelings, despite the pain of silence and coldness. beautiful verse, expressing the pangs of the soul. Always, Laura

In such time i think it's better to keep silence with patience by pouring strength in heart. Silence is the best policy to over come many difficulties, my friend. i have written a Quote also on it. You have expressed a complicated situation and how we can overcome by being brave. It's nice. 7 is sure i feel. Loved always,bl

So sad...that sorrow could easily have been softened, even by a single word...Unfortunately, silence often gets broken when it is too late! ~ Hope your princess has brought you sunshine and lots of things to talk about:) Hugs // paul

To me the silent treatment is the very worst thing to endure. The one good thing is that most women are incapable of remaining silent! Sorry I'm being bad, I couldn't resist! Great poem Eileen.

Thanks, White Sage. I am well acquainted with sorrow. I deal with depression. sometimes I'm taken down for a while, but I rise again. Thanks for the visit.
