The Voice
I close my eyes to fall asleep
with the music of your voice
Your playful song within a dream
woud make this girl rejoice.
Because I've heard no other voice
nor have I known another heart
as beautiful as yours
You're magic-dust from star-filled skies
scattered upon my moon-kissed shores.
Like polar-white of early snow
the pure emotion of your soul
secretly seeked 'tween dusk and dawn
to have,to own,to make me whole.
