The Visit
The Visit
There in the nightlight a shimmering flame
Ghostly threads the shroud a dimming blur that no shadow bestows
Glowing crown visit me, come share your light,
Bountiful joy cascade upon my soul
I fear not you visit renowned your wisdom prequel to the word of god.
In you excellence I am in ore
Show me the way, cast you shimmering light,
Bestow life’s path a golden glow in the name of god
Prescribe a joyful heart true and strong,
I am at your command
As the giver of life let no waste contaminate seconds score,
As with every breath I am joyful of you.
Proud am I of receiving your blessing
Concise thought reminds every life,
The message shared with another soul is for the living end
Your grace and mercy bestowed on less fortunate hearts.
Condemned all evil to another realm,
Only visited by the scourge of the dammed
God bless my soul as I follow you lord.
