The Value of a Kiss

It may not seem much to some, To ones whose hearts are cold, But to those that care to feel A kiss is worth more than gold. No matter what age you are, Mature or of tender years, As long as you gently bestow Love’s token washed with tears Of joy, or even of sadness, Kisses will soothe the pain Whenever they are planted, Like sunshine after the rain.
