The Unicorn and Me

There he stands in mystic wonder, white as snow and elegant splendor, eyes as blue as the sky up yonder. Silently he moves across the glade, a silent breeze ruffling his mane, before boldly glancing my way. In his eyes there is no fear, as he circles closer, ever near. Is that a hunter we both hear? There, see their spears. Gracefully bowing before me, Invited to join him on his journey. To a land where he is free and can slumber peacefully. Through the forest we flee, the unicorn and me.
