The Tyreless Car
There floating on the bay
lies some tyres five in all
they must belong to a car
that's lost height ain't too tall
There's no sign of the vehicle
it's nowhere to be seen
could it be lost under water
no longer it's bright shiny green
These tyres look so lonesome
not attached to any body
only filled with blue liquid
no earthly good to nobody
I wonder if the car is so deep
down past the fishes a swim
lying there rusting pointlessly
hoping to be brought to the brim
Well one may never know
the answer to this car
but the bay looks peaceful
a real picture scene by far
