The Truth Will Triumph
The Truth stood downcast in the lie,
False witnesses accused my Lord,
The world wanted to crucify
Jesus Christ for He's Son of God;
They could not accept Him as King,
The Truth stood downcast in the lie,
That day He was dumb so I'd sing
How on the cross they made Him die;
None was ready to hear His cry,
When hung between heaven and earth,
The Truth stood downcast in the lie,
But He conquered the sting of death;
One day, Truth will triumph again,
When Christ will come down from the sky,
And I'm glad it was not in vain,
The Truth stood downcast in the lie.
