The True North Strong and Free
With glowing hearts we see thee rise
The true north strong and frigid
Have heard our anthem for many long years
Prefer somewhere where water is liquid
Guess this heart's not really that loyal
This winter has done it's job
Canada's a wonderful country BUT
That's no way to treat this old bod
Those Florida natives are all so lucky
Except for occasional hurricanes
Basking in a hundred and ten degree temps
Sure wouldn't hear me complain
Maybe I would, it's second nature for us humans
To complain about this and that
We're never satisfied no matter what's the deal
But love to go outside without a hat!
