The Tree of Life

Like trees, God's wondrous grace bestows coverings which could transform my foes. Those empty dwellings who do not know His safe shelter when wild storms blow. Grace taught my heart to fear the God whose justice carries one strong rod. When Christ became no mere façade, that same grace calmed my fears, how odd. My enemy, would-be friend, could know hidden joys of grace if I disclosed in a way, sincere yet un-imposed - God's mercy and vengeance juxtaposed.
