The Timestamp

A day goes by in a wink, Did I maybe have a heavy drink? How Did I end up here among these shrinks? For, everyone seems to know and say what I think. My thoughts go wandering To the good old days so mesmerizing. We had our share of mischiefs and wrong doings, Yet things always looked to turn out gleaming. Were those memories of lost past? Or of a different dimension for this universe is Vast. The times I had basked in peace come at me so fast, I am left standing at the edge wondering why did they not last? A week passes by and so does a decade I look for an escape that could end this façade. I twist and turn on my bed hoping my existence would fade Hoping I could simply wake up on the other side of this arcade.
