The Time Between Seasons

Canopy fire way up high A Season’s change before the eye What beauty; to live and die. Howling winds, whipping all around Leaves find their way unto the ground Forest floor they do abound. The seasons changing right on cue Each passing day; night will subdue Prevailing darkness in lieu. This is the tale of every Fall As every winter has to thaw Leaves spring to life; reinstall.
