The Thingamajig

D ug it out from under the stairs, I knew it would be useful someday. S aving it I was for future repairs, C huffed I never threw it away. A ll in good order as good as new, R atchets and spindles all spinning. D amned if I know what it used to do, E minently too good for binning. D on't care what the missus might say, ...........I'm keeping this sucker for a rainy day.

Are you a secret hoarder John lol, I have lots of thingamajigs and whatsitmacallits and now you have reminded me to have a clear out : ( another very enjoyable read. PS, if you ever find my pens I will knock a bit off the fees lol (keep one for the crossword) ; ) Emilia xx

Emilia, I think that there’s a little ‘hoarder’ in all of us. Sod’s law says that the minute you throw something away, that’s when you need it. I’m worried, we haven’t even discussed numbers and already you’re offering me a discount. Gotta read that small print xx
