The Tale of the Heart and the Mind

The heart was set, but the mind was not. The heart felt stolen with no second thought. The mind did warn the heart and say, 'The feeling's not right, let it go away....' But the heart was hopeless in the depths of love, and completely deaf to the mind above.... When it began to drown, in the feelings it felt, the mind came by and beside it knelt. As the heart begged, 'Oh let me go! I am his and nothing more!' The mind then warned one last time, 'This feeling of yours has no reason, no rhyme!' 'Stay.....Stay.... for you shall be lost, you shall be broken but at what cost?'
