The Tale of Mickey D
I wish to tell you now my friends
the tale of Mickey D.
He found himself alone one day
on a boat adrift at sea.
He called to those who would listen;
those within the sound.
And let me tell you now, my friends,
This is what he found.
He found that…
Guilt is an anchor that weighs you down.
Lying can do that to you, too.
Forget your eyesight,
trust what you can’t see
and answers will be given to you.
Alone on a boat is a terrible thing
or on an island, too.
There’s always someone there to hear
and in return, speak to you.
The thing to do is open your heart,
not so much your ears.
And a voice will be heard to guide you home
and drown away your fears.
So, listen my friends, to the lesson he gives.
He knows of what he’s saying
It’s time to open up your heart
And get on your knees and start praying!
