The Sunflowers
It was an afternoon;when I wandered lonely,
And watched the yellow faces silently.
Those were the faces of flowers named 'Sunflower'
Wishing to see it for hour after hour.
Tossing their heads and glittering, -
Like Gold and the view was outstanding.
Always kept looking at the Sun;
Don't know, for them what was the fun.
I saw hundred of them at a glance,
So beautiful those were;who could miss the chance?
The flowers made me forget my solitude;
To them how could I express my gratitude.
Gradually, the leisure time was passing away,
At the end of the day, I wished to say,-
A sweet good bye ,and I was so pleased
Also lamented, because regularly the view would be missed.
Those were so pretty like the sulphur showers,
Yes they were the most beautiful Sunflowers.
