The Sunflowers

It was an afternoon;when I wandered lonely, And watched the yellow faces silently. Those were the faces of flowers named 'Sunflower' Wishing to see it for hour after hour. Tossing their heads and glittering, - Like Gold and the view was outstanding. Always kept looking at the Sun; Don't know, for them what was the fun. I saw hundred of them at a glance, So beautiful those were;who could miss the chance? The flowers made me forget my solitude; To them how could I express my gratitude. Gradually, the leisure time was passing away, At the end of the day, I wished to say,- A sweet good bye ,and I was so pleased Also lamented, because regularly the view would be missed. Those were so pretty like the sulphur showers, Yes they were the most beautiful Sunflowers.

so well penned Rupak, unfortunately so many people are so busy in their daily lives they dont have time to pause and look at the beauty that surrounds them. I adore sunflowers I grew miniature ones in my garden last year:-) hugs Jan x

Yes you are right, many of us are busy in their daily life and they have forgotten to look at the natural beauty of this world.
