The Sun Shown Brightly

The sun shown brightly through the window blinds, the dew still fresh on the ground glistening like diamonds on the flower petals. The alarm clock ringing wildly finally reached her ears; she rolled over trying to hide her eyes and ears from the onslaught of the morning. Thoughts of the night before tip toe through her mind as she gains consciousness. She cannot help but smile, remembering their conversations of the evening. He always says the right things to her; he always puts her at ease with his words. It seemed as if he knew everything about her, all of her trials and triumphs. He seemed to understand the pain in her heart, her tangled emotions. How frightening to find so perfect a man.
