what percentage of the sun is madness ~ of the all consuming doesn't care less kind are we even talking percentages when a taint is enough ~ beauty/life giving how cleansed you feel when it's just enough ~ so much is true all at once ~ it'll blind you! you'll die of exposure! I know enough to bathe in this madness to let it change my skin and my hair my mood enhanced as I step out the dot dot dot dash dash dash dot dot dot forgotten in an instant ...---...til we look to the ground and there's something out of place that's it. spoiled. the moment done for the creep of impending thought...---... sear to strip away please how much madness/is too much is there such a thing as/too little when the sun shines we forget it all those rays make something more of the spaces inbetween SOS calling

The brilliance and baddy of the Sun, clever! Brother Sun, Sister Moon, all in the family. Now you must take the Sun lovers in California, crazy alright. Great humor and a nice surprise Dilly Dally! Ah coded for SOS ...---... well that's special.

Thank you Anaya - I'm more an Autumn person and always seek the shade. Even the painting seems to burn the viewers eyes. The moon however often re surprises me with it's beauty (albeit owed to the sun!) Thanks for your kind comment, always welcomed.

Love the use of Morse code in the poem Dilly, strange thing all the madness happens inside the sun, it takes about 1 million years for the light photons to reach the suns surface from its core, then only about 8 minutes more to reach the artist’s retina here on Earth, bonkers eh! But I guess you knew it was all insane writing this excellent piece, cheers David

Intriguing interpretation DD full of the usual twists and turns of your mind. Enjoyed the way meaning was starting to break through in places only to be lost in the wordplay, the poem seems to make sense in its totality rather than in its parts. Maybe I've got it wrong...sent off on a mad chase by the sun. Engaging read DD.

I think I was definitely on to something, just past the glare (and likely needing more than the 25 minutes I spent). Thanks for stopping by x

Quite an intricate description. I like the painting, as well. Thank you.

Thanks Hilda - I just go with whatever whim comes to mind and was a bit bold with this one. It wasn't a painting I'd seen before (and I do search for the lesser known Munch paintings now) but it has an almost painful beauty about it. Thank you for having a read x
