The Summer We Spent
I hope you remember
The Summer we spent...
Reminiscing about old friends
And dancing in the rain...
Those times when we tried baking cookies
And ended up eating the raw dough...
Each of those seconds spent laughing...
Time running away from us...
The shadows we made with our hands...
Dogs,waves and what all not ...
A time when we were free
And excited to grow up...
Not realizing this wonderful time
We would miss so dearly...
When you were mine...
But then came the pain, so severely...
The innocence, all lost,
Lost with that Summer...
