The Struggle Within

Keeping out the wind, drowning out the roar, running from this Avalanche, knocking at my door. The chains are getting tighter, my blood will not last, Shackled to my enemy, my heart..it pulses fast. Dripping, dropping, without stopping, this body, can't take much more.. The few that I do let in, use me, then throw me to the floor.. The beats are getting slower now. The pain, is starting to subside.. Darkness, closing in on me, my Demon, pulls me to the Great Divide. Aaron Irizarry
