The Storm Cloud

A brilliant light Struck through a cloud Enormous, gray and still, Quietness all around As I stood upon the hill. The moon was hidden by the cloud, A crescent light shown through, A breeze blew by, A cricket sang, I smelled the evening dew. As I looked upon This magnificent sight, I saw the angels In their glorious light. They seemed to be playing Hide and seek, I saw their smiles, So gentle, so meek. I held my breath, My heartbeat quickened, I felt so calm, so alive, And quite taken. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t blink, I stared in awe And began to think, That this is a sign, A sign from GOD, That life isn’t about Money, material things, or jobs. Life is about living Seeking out the new, To love, to cherish To be a part of the few, Who believe in GOD With all of their hearts, To do what is right And from HIS side never part. To have faith and love Is all you need To be a part of HIS crowd, So, look for HIS angels And you will see That the answers lie In a dark and stormy cloud.
