The Stool and Boulder

The Stool And Boulder Sit on the high stool over there Made of old newspapers, doused in kerosene Strike up a conversation or a match if you care Safety comes first for so many reasons No nails were used in the production Construction paste and lick of the tongue sufficed Got the job done in twice the time See through rice paper for the seat was used Above the stool hangs a 30 ton granite boulder Held there by a spider thin thread Be extra careful when you sit Remember to wear a bonnet or a hat for protection Bring a plumb or porridge with you to the corner Stools made of newspaper aren’t all that safe And have been known to break As for the boulder, well They have been known to cause headaches
