The Sniper

Shoot straight, Don’t let your gaze stray, Breath slow and measured, Frame the mark in the sun’s rays. Make a bead, Feel the wind, Clear your mind, All but this rescind. Take it slow, Think ahead, Know the moment To release that deadly lead. No time to ponder None for regrets, You’ve done your duty In terminating threats. You’re the archangel Of right and might The gavel of justice, Our enemy’s blight.
