I long, just as you do The comfort of salvation Exquisiteness, just at the tip of my fingers I need not sing my siren song But I watch your eyes Watch your strength diminish As I continue to play Considering myself in detail To be held, what else is there Any move from me, is everything Offer my hand perhaps Or allow you to sink What of my fate After locking eyes with you May you quiet me for a while I'll rest, held in arms For the waves may rush There will be no shallows Just the rise and fall Of immediate satiation

I remember you wrote another Ekphrasis on the theme of sirens too, this is 'exquisiteness' (to put it in your words) :) for Brian's contest?
