The Silk of Time
Minutes tick away
Whilst a lifetime surge at bay...
Monuments build the present
Sculptures fulfill the future's crescent...
Rodents hang on some smiles
Melting their sides into disastrous aisles...
Frowns are lifted upon their faces
Leaving nothing more horrible than scar traces...
Oh people look up to the sky
Remember the light touching the eye...
Waste nothing from the present
whilst erasing the frowns' scent...
For today's future are the memories left
from the present's heft...
Let time take its time
As it flies with every soul's delightful Thyme...
And so as time takes its own time
Threads are sewn with a pinch of lime
to remind one of some times,
that have been overcome in the presence of a sad rhyme...
Although time is what is wanted by most
Learn how to use it whenever it's a post...
Fear not to walk out of the shell
For light awaits to shake hands and yell...
