The Silent Noise
I hear it Day in Night out
But there's no sound
The constant noise that rings and rings
Only in my mind
No one else hears what I see
The emptiness is so loud
The air keeps screaming at the trees
Rippng off the tender leaves
Vilently rocking through the branches
Making their arms fall off
Breaking cars, smashing roofs
Buried alive in dirt
People suffer, people cry
The Silent Noise is a destructive beauty
Tearing walls apart like playdough
Ripping up planks like wet paper
Force of power
God's plan to remind us
We have no control
Over what Nature contains
