The Silence of Lions
Striking, the spray of light in our night sky!
Out with all worries, it'll be eyes illumined for you and I.
Under our dreams there are tool boxes and road maps
That pirate our delights and make them visible, perhaps.
People know, they know the secret of the shouting letters.
Enamored they are through their tumble-roll of feathers.
Owls and oils slick and lick the edges of their worlds,
Pantomiming their thoughts in mirrors as their truest self unfurls.
Let them soar above their sights with the bravery of 30,000 lions! For
Evening they will drop to their dull-lit beds wrapped in eternal silence.
