The Shadow of Forever

Will you stand beside me in the shadow of forever? Will we let our affections flow like two rivers joined together? Do you sense the bond between us? It's like two souls becoming one. Do you feel the love that we share? With you, a new life has begun. You and I are on a journey. United we will find the place where we set free old memories with cherished new ones to embrace. I know you'll be there when I fall, guiding me to a safer ground, and I'll be there to dry your tears, bringing joy like you've never found. I'll hold your hand to help you through the sorrows that this world can't mend. Devotion is my gift to you, my loving heart I'll always lend. Will you stand beside me in the shadow of forever? Will we live our life to its fullest and savor the joy together?

Beautiful couplets with fine images of you and your lover. Good questions, too. Very enjoyable, Ron.

Thank you so much! This was what was running through my mind and heart as I was about to remarry, questions that were asked, discussed and the wonderful woman I married cleared away all the doubts that spawned those questions.
