The Seen and the Unseen

The Seen And The Unseen You send to me a great desire Like the heat from an ever burning fire No pale of water Could evaporate the heat from you The heat burns strong And deeply untrue Oxygen is what I can provide Take what you can We will equally divide All elements consist of a balance We all have an ounce of valence Coursing through our being I can't function Without your chemical bond The seen and the unseen So you see You I am quite fond Its hard to abstain When with you I accumulate much gain I will retain any energy you send my way As long as we carry on and live for today I absorb the beauty you fill my vision with I absorb the fiery smoked air with my lungs Giving me a taste of the old oak tree The old soul that yearns to be.
