The Seedling

Bloom ye flower Oh seed planted by my gene Spread forth thy petals Embracing the rays of aspiration and hope The triumphs and failures That may buffet against thee Only nourish the soil Which shall strengthen thy foundation Feeding thy soul Thereby magnifying thy beauty Thy love will inhale I pray thou will not fade nor wilt Remember, oh gentle flower The fragrance ye possess Will be only enhanced Enticing thy bee Spreading forth the roots Of love That are entwined within thee forever
