The Secret Waterfall
The secret waterfall was well hidden
to reach it one had to pass behind
the curtain of the fall that all knew about
Then through a short passage
that led to a beautiful lagoon
hidden by the rocky towering cliffs
Here the secret fall sang its song
as it gayly flowed bouncing along
just a pleasant gentle murmur
As it joined the crystal clear waters
a profusion of plants and flowers adorn
the gentle sloping banks
A natural sun trap this little valley
colourful birds singing out their joy
as they splash in your small pools
Here at your feet is a sense of peace
looking up to your source at the top
I stand in stunned awe at your beauty
