The Secret
i mourn in silence.
because my lips are sealed with the secret that is not mine.
i tightly hold your happiness to
lessen the blow,
knowing damn well,
this joy is temporary.
my heart is crying for you,
and i mentally prepare to take your weight,
hold us up,
so that you can crumble.
i will love you through the darkest days,
and i hope to god that there will be light.
your fear will outweigh mine,
but i will take it from you,
so that maybe you can walk free.
and i will hold you,
until the end or,
the beginning.
