The Second Coming

Trumpets from heaven's gates herald the hour The terrible Day of The Lord has come Living souls tremble, fearing Christ's power. Lightning flashes, parting clouds for God's Son Every knee bows, above and below Him The terrible Day of The Lord has come. His Voice calls out, like thunder in the wind The Savior has come, the world to redeem Every knee bows, above and below Him. Believers rejoice, for Christ they now see Man of Sorrows, King of kings on His throne The Savior has come, the world to redeem. Fear strikes the hearts of the unsaved's lost souls As judgment is passed, for death or for life Man of Sorrows, King of kings on His Throne. Justice separates the wrong from the right Trumpets from heaven's gates herald the hour As judgment is passed, for death or for life Living souls tremble, fearing Christ's power. While we fear the Lord's judgement, we pray for his mercy. Let us pray for every soul on this earth. Peace and Amen.

A well-composed apocalyptic piece laced with practical reality - that the same Jesus who was taken into heaven will come back to earth in a like manner. 7+!

thanks, SKAT. It's my first attempt at a Terzenelle. It was challenging, to say the least!!

Mighty is his power of judgment but mightier still is his grace . . . wise is the one who reads and digests your words to life! Well done dear friend.

Thank you, David. God's judgment is never easy to address, and yet it will come someday. Yet, as we live, those who respond to His great grace will be saved! I wanted to write my first Terzenelle, and it seemed to work with a "weighty" subject.
