This brings back a memory of 6 last roses by our back door. They hung on so long - then just hips - then nothing but cold, dry air. Congrats on this sensitive piece being featured. Love, Dave

The people of this site know quality when they see it. Eight short lines yield quite a bit of pleasant descriptiveness. Good choice for poem of the week.

There are still blooms on some roses here in Florida, but days are growing shorter so I don't imagine we'll be seeing many more buds until spring. I hope you entered this in the "fall" contest. Best wishes for success if you did! Love, Carolyn
