The Search
I ran thru life as if it had no end
Over looking all the rules.
Now I’m trying to level it all out again
As I realize that I was a fool
I threw away almost everything
And none of the warning I heeded
Took just about everyone for granted
For there was nothing that I thought I needed
My selfishness overthrew me
To the point that I could not ignore
And it exploited all my weaknesses
Which triggered an enter war.
There I was distorted my views became estranged
My perspectives were revealed
As I was compelled to change
Fending off the hordes of credence
That had overtaken me like a contagious cancer
And now Enlighten by the devotion
My distorted soul searches for an answer
