The Same Genes
I in you, and you in me,
We're related, we have the same genes,
We were taught by example for many years,
We learned the same techniques, you can feel what I feel,
When our eyes meet, we see what we've been through,
We can quietly nod at each other, and know exactly what to do,
It is no surprise to me...
That our eyes can identically see,
And when we rumble, it's a head to heart fight,
We'll go back and forth to prove who's right,
But in the end...this is what we'll see,
How much I love you, and how much you love me.
