The Sacrifice

The sacrifice that was made on that day in September, we will always remember. There was no greater cost to pay, than that of the lives lost that day. Pain and sorrow was felt by all, as we witnessed those towers fall. The devastation in New York was great, all because of one mans hate. All we ever wanted was world peace, and all the fighting to cease. We will continue to keep our heads held high, as we raise our flags to the sky. To honor all those who died, we will stand together with pride. Our pain will some day fade, but we will never forget the sacrifice that was made.
