The Rub Off
have you ever stopped to think about
the lives that we pass through
on the paths we take from day to day
and the effect it has on you
from the rub of infancy
to the running stride of youth
those whom you touch along the way
end up touching you
with the awakening of adulthood
to the age of who'd have thought
along the way the paths we cross
become a part of us
