The Room
Within this little room
No windows do I see
Four walls and memories
My only company
I listen as I breathe
This damp and musky air
For any signs of life within
Myself while huddled here
I rise to stand on legs
That will not hold my weight
There's no escape, I fear
This room of empty fate
