The Rock of Life
What holds you together?
when life's storms do assault
tearing you from limb to limb
thinking is this really my fault?
There is a rock higher than I
the one who is my strong tower
in His hold there I am safe
always secure no matter the hour
He is indeed my chief cornerstone
the one my life is built upon
Jesus the Christ is His name
with His love I've been drawn
My strong tower is my Jesus
nothing shifts me from my rock
following Him is my sweetest song
singing in melody as I walk
