The Roads I'Ve Taken

Sometimes I may have lost connection Sometimes they took me in the wrong direction Maybe I'll spend the rest of my days alone But the roads I've taken were all my own I never took the time to ponder my fate Too much waiting ahead, I don't want to be late I must have run to keep the wolves at bay The roads I've taken have led me astray There's a new light shining in the morning sun My horse is saddled and she's ready to run Now my future's brighter. I can see it clear The roads I've taken have brought me here I feel a freedom in my heart today Stop to help my brother along the way Then I pray Dear Jesus, when my time is through Let the roads I've taken lead back to You.

Great writing - I love the theme of all your poems! I live in Saskatchewan on the lone prairie and can relate to all you write! Great job!
