The Road To Valentine
Through petals soft in pink of hue
I searched entire worlds for you
For surely with a flowered gait
I’d find the love for which I’d wait
With hearts to grow and paths to wind
Through every blossom I could find
I came to rest on solid ground
To plant the seeds of love I’d found
And so, though tired and scarred by thorn
Our love like Spring was finally born
To traverse far, this garden’s way
To Valentine’s much cherished day
Happy Valentine’s Day to my love!
