The Road Not Taken
“…Two roads diverged in a yellow wood and I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference.” ~ Robert Frost.
I still walk the same well-worn path
Same is the measure of my passion
I still dream the same dream
spent a lifetime in the making,
Yet, I haven’t found my haven
Yet, I haven’t mended my way.
And that day both ways equally lay
Oh, the one I chose led me astray,
I did look down as far as the bend
The one I took led me to a dead-end.
Not knowing which way leads where
I took the other that needed no wear,
I doubt if it would make a difference
Had I taken the one less traveled by.
